“Ivver Sen”

Ivver Sen is Cumbrian dialect for ‘ever since’ and is also the title of Keith Richardson’s ‘Cumbria Book of the Year’ award winning book. The phrase is a direct reference to the many years that hill farming has existed in the Lake District since the early Norse settlers. This illustrated talk – featuring the incredible pastel artwork of Keith Bowen – is about the people who have lived and worked the land over the years in a rapidly changing world.
